Honeygain is an application that simply uses your unused internet data and paid you for it.
So the way it works is like this: You turned the app on, and Honeygain comes in and uses the internet data that you are not using.
Currently, Honeygain software is available on Windows, macOS, and Android platforms. Unfortunately, an iOS (iPhone) version is not available.
If you decide to use the app on your phone, you can allow the Honeygain app to use your cellular data too if you want to and have unlimited data.
In nutshell, this is purely passive income, you literally are not doing anything at all and making money!
Plus it doesn’t slow down your phone or your computer, because Honeygain does not use your processing power, only your internet.

Honeygain Review – How Much Can You Earn?
Honeygain pays you based on how much internet they use not how much internet you use.
This is how Honeygain calculates your earning. For every 10MB that they use you will get 1 credit. 10GB of traffic is equal to $1. Therefore, 1000 credit is equal to $1.
Honeygain app also provides something called “content delivery” which you earn 6 credits for every hour Content Delivery is active and running.
You will see all these credits and updates on your dashboard.
The only downside is the demand. Because the demand in Honeygain service is uneven, you can’t be sure how much you can earn actually. Sometimes the demand is high and there is not enough users online, which means you can earn more, But sometimes it is the other way around.
The minimum payout amount is $20. Once you hit $20 or more on your Honeygain dashboard you can request a payout.

Is Honeygain Worth It?
This is more like a personal question. You should ask yourself this: Are you comfortable having an app running on your device in the background and uses your data? Are you also happy knowing an app is running in the background on your device, without you knowing 100% what it is doing?
If you answered yes to both of those question, then yes just download the app and let it run and you pocket the money.
However, there are couple of things you might want to consider specifically if you want to use Honeygain on your phone.
Make sure to look at your cellular usage if you choose to allow Honeygain to use your sim data. If you don’t have an unlimited plan, Honeygain can easily use all your data. In addition to that, keep an eye out for your battery, since the app is always running in the background, you might find yourself running out of battery very often.
With all that said, Honeygain does claim that they ensure to keep your personal data safe and not being used anywhere. But again, that means you need to trust them.
Final Verdict
Well, Honeygain is not a scam. They have a pretty obvious way of operating and you can see how they make their money and how they pay you.
The only downside for me is having an app running on my device in the background without me knowing what exactly they are doing. If you are okay with that, or you simply have a computer that doesn’t have any personal information on it, you can definitely make use of Honeygain and use it as a side hustle.
