Probably you have been approached by a friend or an affiliate to join watermine.io, and you saw on their website that you can earn up to 2.6% Daily returns!

You can’t find any information on the Watermine.io website about who runs or owns the company. So I decided to check their domain registration. Watermine.io has been privately registered in July 2020, which is not that long ago.
Based on Alexa Rank, most of the traffic coming to Watermine.io is from Venezuela following by Sudan and India.
Also, they do provide a UK company house registration number on their website, which obviously I had a look at that too.
Based on their UK registration, WATERMINE CORPORATION LTD operates in the fund management sector and the company has been incorporated fairly recently, in July 2020.
Watermine.io Products
Watermine.io does not provide any retail-able product or services that you can sell to a real customer.
All you can do is to become an affiliate and promote their affiliate membership. Therefore you can also invest in hope of earning that advertised return on investment!
They do claim that they:
deals not only with crypto-currency mining but also with their trade on international exchanges. The popularity of crypto-currency and the increasing difficulties in obtaining it increase the popularity and demand for crypto-currencies in the markets and in general. Therefore, sales of digital currency are very profitable for us, and this kind of activity brings us and our investors a decent income.

Watermine.io has a simple uni-level structure commission plan. It caps the commission to 4 levels as follow:

Watermine.io Scam or Legit?
So is Watermine.io scam?
The company has not been transparent at all. We don’t know who actually runs or owns the company.
Based on the Watermine UK registration, the director of the company is a person called “WERNER, Marcel“. I wasn’t able to find a digital footprint on this person connecting him to Watermine.io.
In addition to that, they don’t provide any information on how they make those promised returns on investments.
All I can see is the new investors’ deposits are paying off the existing members. This is your typical ponzi scheme.
The math behind all the pyramid schemes are the same. Once the recruitment slows down, their won’t be enough money coming in to pay off the existing members, and that is when they start planning their exist scam.
Because we don’t know who is behind the company, and their registered address on the UK company house certificate is some random place, you can’t actually track them down.
Finally, in general any company that works in a financial sector and provides return on investment, needs to be registered with financial regulators. I wasn’t able to find any registration for watermine.io except that usual UK company house.
I can’t recommend this company.
